Definition of the German term Nasard in music:
- organ mutation stop of 2⅔ pitch on the manuals (used with an 8' stop) and 5⅓' pitch on the pedals (used with a 16' stop), sounding a twelfth (an octave and a fifth) above the note played (equivalent to "Nazard" in English, "Nasard" in French, and "Nasardo" in Italian)
